Got an 85 k5 3/4 ton axles, replaced ball joints, do I need to replace the adj sleeve? It's stuck as hell! And what does it actually adjust?

 

i believe what you are talking about is the camber adjusting sleeve, it sets the camber angle to the correct angle. i would say you do not have to replace it but it should get aligned after you do ball joints, at least get it checked to see where you are at

 

after all the k5s and suburbans ive owned i have never pulled one of those things out. i always inspect them but they never seem to be worn or cracked so i leave them the heck alone
