We are redoing my son's 1986 K5 suspension. Normally I would take pictures before I take things apart, but I thought it was straight forward. We replaced all of the ball joints, but ended up with a large gap on the uppers. I don't remember if there was a gap with the old ones. Does this look correct? The replacement ball joints look the same...

 

Will the hubs still line up with the axle tube?

 

if there is no movement in and out of the knuckle and the top nut went down far enough to get a cotter pin in there it will probably be fine. ill be in my garage tonight when i get home and ill look to see how mine is
