Default Battery Interchangability?

Its me again with more questions. The blazer i got for free doesnt have a battery and a budy of mine has one from his 96 jeep 5.2liter 318. I'm sorry for the stupid question but, can this battery be used? Thanks in advance

Please remember to always post your vehicle information. It helps others not have to look back through your posts to find that information.

Now, a '78 K5 calls for a group 75 battery with top posts which just happens to be the same as what the '96 GC calls for.
