Default carburetor

i went to the carburetor place today and found out i have a divorced choke carburetor and my intake manifolds are vaccumm so the guy says if i take it off and bring it in he'll change it to a vaccumm carb for 90$ so is it hard to take off my carburetor and put it back on without messing stuff up ?

Shouldnt' be too difficult for you to remove. Disconnect the kick down and throttle cables. Disconnect the fuel line and any vacuum lines. Then pull the 4 bolts holding it on (may be studs with nuts in the back).
