It sound like your hubs didn't lock in. Auto or manual hubs?
If you put the transfer case in 4X4 and drive forward about 10 feet, then get under the truck and try to turn the front drivshaft by hand, if it turns it's a transfer case problem, if it doesn't it's the hubs.

As far as a stiff shift lever......caked in mud?

Keep us informed, we'll figure it out.

Its automatic locking hubs..but it sreally weird cause today I brought my truck into my shop class at Vo-tech..Since I was taking care of my lose lifter id figure id take a quick look at it..well I got the wheels off the groudn put it in 4hi..and all 4 wheels turn...put it in 4Lo and all wheels turn..but the thing is my friend went under the truck and turned the front driveshatf till it locked in then turned it the other way to make sure it locked in..then after that it worked fine Idk real confusing I am probaly going to take it to a little field tonite and test it out again..ill let you kno wut happens
