Fuse for ECMB
I have a 90 Chevy with the 5.7 tbi, yesterday i drove over a speed bumb at a speed little over reccommend speed, and the truck shut off right away. try to start it and the tbi wasnt squirting. so i checked the fuses and the ECMB fuse was blown, i changed it and it started back up. well i drove about 1/2 mile when i hit a pot hole and the fuse popped again. This time when i changed the fuse, as soon as i key the ignition it popped. Any suggestion? Im thinking maybe an exposed wire for the fuel pump is grounding out.

yeah exactly!! i just bought a k5 blazer on saturday doing the same thing. my ecm-1 fuse was popped and there was a pile of them in the floor. i found where the wire was exposed and put heat shrink over it. no more problems. let us know what you find.
also if you have trouble finding where the ground is... wire in a light where the fuse goes, using two spade connectors... turn the key on and it should light up... it will go out when you find and disconnect the ground. good luck
I cant seem to find where it is grounding out at. I looked all along the frame rail, i double checked. Is it possible the Fuel pump is bad?? I have already changed the Fuel Pump Relay. Cuz the Fuse seems to be popping when the rear of truck bounces to heavily.
