I recently replaced the old, warn out original leafs on my 87’ K5 4x4 with a 4” Rough Country lift kit.
As I drove her home, I realized heard a new grinding noise coming from under the rig that I have never heard / felt before. As I figured it out, it would only happen at highway speeds (55+) and only when I let off the gas pedal quickly.
This noise has never happened before the lift. I also have a rebuilt 700R4 transmission as of 7/2024. And it has ran flawlessly since I’ve had it. No issues, no noises since I’ve had it.
Any guidance, wisdom or tips / tricks? ^^^Pre lift, stock height. ^^^Original leafs ^^^After the 4” lift, still on 32” tires 🤣 ^^^Getting her new shoes on -35” Cooper STT so fresh and so cleanPro ^^^After 4” lift with new 35” tires on.
