hello i have a 1983 chevy k-5 blazer originaly had a 305 in it but now has a 350 i am putting the a/c back in it from where the prev owner took everything out i have all of the parts with the exception of the bolts for the compressor and the lower mounting bracket does anyone know where i can find one i have been to all my local junk yards and that is apparently the first thing to go on the trucks is all the a/c stuff i need the bracket and all of the bolts to mount the compressor or just need to know the size of the bolts.

Your gonna have to scour the salvage yards a little harder for those brackets. Maybe keep an eye out on places like craigslist...
Keep in mind that the brackets can come off of any similar year (81-87) car or truck small block with the same type of compressor.

 

Yeah, unless you want to spend $$$ at the dealership, your best bet is junkyards, craigslist, or ebay. These brackets are quite popular swaps to earlier small blocks to switch to the single belt serpentine setups.
