I've found good boosters from 95-00 3500/2500 trucks for cheap locally, but is the new(er) firewall bolt pattern the same as our fullsize trucks? Do I have to drive to the junker to find out?


I know the pedal rod differs, but I'm pretty sure I can make that work without too much trouble (I can a brake pedal and everything when I get the booster).

I believe my vac booster is leaking vacuum, hence the desire to upgrade. Pedal feel seems much firmer on newer hydroboost trucks.

I found 18mmOring->#6jic fittings for $11 each (P/N ALL48212). Better option than new P/S hoses if you have friends at a hydraulic shop.
