Default lift question

Ok so im almost done bugging you guys for helpful questions.. i have the 84 blazer with the 4 in lift im sure because it sits big.. It also has a 3 in body lift. I want to try to bring it up a few more inches so it will clear the tires but i dont want any shock issues. I was thinking of getting the 2 or 4 in blocks for the leaf srings for the front and rear and just getting shocks that are 4 inchec longer than whats on it.. Sound like a good idea?

Don't use blocks in the front! How big of tires are you trying to run that a 3" body lift isn't enough already? These trucks already sit pretty high without lift, you probably don't have any lift components right now besides the body lift unless you see something out of place.

Rancho makes add-a-leaf in several sizes, for front and back. You can do shackles in the front, too, but I've always wondered how much this will throw off the camber. You'll probably need camber shims for the knuckles or camber-adjusting ball joint sleeves (PITA).

I haven't done any lift yet because of shocks. I have dual shocks in the front, so that's 6 to replace ($$$), and they still ride good after 20 years =).
