Default I'm about to give up,,,but I can't !!!!

Howdy Folks,
Brand new here and doing what I like to do ,,,,,,,,
I am trying to help a neighbor and have come up on something I just have not been able to figure out for bout 3-4 days now. He has a 1994 full size Blazer W/ 5.7 TBI and 4X4. The engine was run without oil due to a leak on oil filter and locked up.
He also had a 1995 Suburban 5.7 TBI 2WD that had a good engine and he talked me into doing a swap on the engines into the Blazer. What are neighbors for,,,?
I swapped engines for him and got everything lashed up and went to start up and NO FUEL at TBI injectors. Engine will start and run with ether but dies soon as ether is burned up. here is a list of things I have done to try to get it running.
1. Installed new fuel filter under frame. (could not blow thru it))
2. Installed new fuel pump in tank.
3. Installed TBI unit from Blazer engine onto Suburban engine (will start and run with ether but still wont stay running)
4. verified fuel pump pressure with gage kit at 14# Fuel pump will run for bout 15 seconds when key first turned on.
5. Installed oil pressure sender unit from Blazer engine.
6. Installed distributor from Blazer engine. ( SWR) still won't stay running.
7. Jumped the A-B pins on diagnostic port and got code # 67 which is A/C pressure sensor, which should not keep engine from runnin.
8. Also, got code # 82 which is Ignition control (IC) 3X signal error.
Does this code indicate the ECM in the Blazer may be bad? The Suburban engine now has all the electronic sensors that were on the Blazer engine,,,,so why will it not run,,,?? unless the ECM in the Blazer was bad all along,,,,?
Biggest question here is ,,what triggers the signal to the two injectors on the TBI to open and spray fuel???

Can the GURU's here help me out?? Many thanks!!

Default

sounds like the ICM doent match up if you get the IC signal error ?
did you try taking the icm from the blazer engine and stick it to the sub engine ? That should make the blazer ECM happy anyways.. dont know if there are bigger diffs between 94 & 95.

Sounds strange tho..

however, if the ICM is broken the ECM doesnt register the dist running and refuses to open the injectors.. that much i learned when my icm broke
