Default Looking for info on a fan switch

Hey guys, first post here. Im looking for info on a 88 blazer 5.7, the radiator fan switch (wells brand part number SW649) specifically. I am wondering at what temperature this switch kicks the fan on. I am also looking for the wiring/plug that attaches to this switch, does anyone have an online source where I could find this?

Thanks

Default RE: Looking for info on a fan switch

If this is for an aftermarket e-fan system then I would recomend a variable controlled switch. I went to parts store to check on a thermal switch for a Camaro/Firebird 5.7L engine and was told by the parts counter that these thermal switches switch on a apporx 220*-240*, way to high for my tastes. The variable controllers go from 160* to 240*, Flex-a-lite has one that seems to be a good style their premium version turns on the fans with 60% power and increases the power need by 10% until it reaches full power as needed...this helps with altenator life...
