lower ball joint bolt spinning

tech is all new blazers cant get my lower ball joint to torque down... its pressed wtf

Try putting a floor jack under the balljoint and lift the truck up then try again. I wish they'd make those ball joints with a little hex head hole in them. Also make sureits pressed in all the way

its pressed in the housing itself doesnt spin just the bolt comin out..... but i guess i can give it another squezze thnks

yeah sometimes if you jack up on the ball joint area it will put pressure on the ball that is spinning and allow you to tighten the nut... well sometimes anyways

try an air wrench, sometimes that will get it to stop spinning by pulling it faster than you can with a wrench, if it is too loose, the spindle ,may need to be replaced!!!
most of the time they are very hard to get to knock loose so the surface that the tapered part goes into could be wallered, therefore making it imposible to tighten it up !!!
