Guys, I have a 1990 k5 with a 5.7. I love the truck but it is a TURD!! I want more power. I pull a 21' bass boat with it and it's a struggle to say the least. Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated. It is my daily driver. I am looking at a turnkey ls1 5.7-350hp or 410hp.

wonder if you have crappy axle gears. my 84 k5 blazer had 2.73 gears and it was insanely slow.

my 1990 pick up with a 305 and 3.43 gears pulls my SFA s10 on the trailer no problem. but im sure a brand new engine will definitely help
