Default Oil cooler lines help plz

Im trying to stop the oil leak on my 98 blazer 4wd 4.3 and I changed the lines that go into the radiator but didn't help so now I'm trying to change the ones that go to the block but I came across a snag. The bolt on the filter assembly is really easy to get to but how do you get the bolt on the other side of the lines without unbolting a mount and jacking up the enginr a bit? No idea how ths ended up in full size tech sorry my phones tarded

Default Oil lines...

To loosen the bolt, you will need a couple of extensions and probably a swivel. Once the bolt is out, it might look like the assembly will be easy to get out, but it won't come out. Grab a block of wood and place it under the oil pan as close to the front as possible and remove the mounting bolt on the driver's side. Once you jack it up a bit you can slide it out and get the new one in. I just did my 98 not too long ago, and I had to do it on my 96, and my Astro van..so speaking from experience..good luck!

Ok thank you cuz I have the gm service manual and all it says is take out the 2 bolts but when I looked at it I just couldn't see how. I will try this tonight and hopefully not have to add oil every week ha.

We in the fullsize section and I've never seen a 4.3 in a fullsize suv with 4x4. Matter of fact I've never seen a 4.3 in any fullsize suv, only base trucks.
