oil pressure sensor?

Replace the entire line with tubing made for the purpose of connecting to the mechanical pressure gauge I assume you already have.
The line you will have to find at an auto parts store.. and it better say it's for pressure gauge hookup. That is critical.
I advised you to go to hardware store for brass fittings only. And only those you dont find at the parts store.
Already I see about a thirty percent chance of this not ending well. Dont press it. This setup is nothing to do half-***. It should be absolutely spot on in how you do it.
FIRST thing is to avoid overtightening the end connections.

it doesnt need to be perfect. i got the truck for 600. the body is shot so there is a small possibility that i would swap the body out with something different so all this would change by then.
and the lines are super small so the bumper to bumper by me doenst carry anything that size. ill try the true value down the street from me another day.

Well, you're right. It doesnt need to be perfect.
Only needs to be perfect if you're driving it on the highway, in traffic.
if you're just using it off road and not anywhere near anyone else, then I dont give a crap, either.

fixed it. there was a tubing adapter kit or something at a local auto parts store. now it reads that i have pressure. i dont think its an accurate reading but i know its at least measuring that i have pressure.
