Default Replacement Fuel Tank Question

Hello all,
Nick here. A few weeks ago I started a thread about changing the fuel tank in a K5 I was looking at buying. Well I bought the truck and all of your suggestions really helped in getting it out. I did not have to cut an access hole in the floor as one suggested which was a relief. Now I have a question about the ground wire. The old tank had the ground wire welded on to the tank (at least I assume it was welded). The new tank (which looks identical) does not have a specific area like the last one where the ground should go. Will a ground connector work or should i solder/weld the wire on there like the old one?? Thanks for any help one might provide!

Anywhere you can hook a ground strap to will work.
