Default Steering wheel removal?

I have a 92 full-size Blazer - no air bag. Anyone have step-by-step instructions on how to remove the steering wheel? I have a loose turn signal lever that needs some attention. I figured I could either struggle with the wheel for hours, waste time and swear a lot, or take a chance and ask for help here...

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Best thing I can suggest is a good repair manual. Saves from having to waste time asking questions.

My references state:
[ol][*]Disconnect battery ground cable[*]Remove horn button cap[*]Remove steering wheel retainer and nut[*]Remove horn lead assembly, if equiped[*]Mark relationship of steering wheel to the steering shaft[*]Using a puller, remove steering wheel[*]Reverse procedure to install[/ol]

You will either have to make up a puller yourself or buy/rent one from your favorite autoparts store.

Thanks, Kyle. My haynes manual does not address this question; I need to find a repair manual with more detail. Sometimes just getting started is the hard part...if the horn cap just pops off, then what's underneath may be apparent. Thanks for the direction.

That is my experience with most everything I have ever replaced/repaired. I go into it thinking its already broke, what harm will breaking it more do! LOL It is very reassuring how much you can do with just a bit of information.
