I am getting ready to take apart my tailgate to replace the tracks and seals. Did you just take off the access panel or take the whole thing apart?

 

You will need to pull the window to get the track felt replaced and it definitely makes it easier to replace the inner/outer trim at the top of the tailgate. Just pull off the access panel, run the window out about half way, and remove the 4 bolts that hold the window to the regulator slides. You will not have to remove the regulator..
