tires question

hey on my 78 i got 35's on 15 inch rims .i wanna get a spare and i picked up some really nice 35's for free is says mount on 17 inch rims only i finnaly tracked down a used one at a local tire place is it ok to run 17inch rims along with my 15's if i happen to get a flat ..i was thinkin the only differance would be the amount of sidewall but i thought i ask for the hell of it

Don't matter as long as the tire height is the same. It'll just look weird

Yeah, I got 17" rims and a 15" rim as a spare just because i didn't want to spend like 300+ more on a spare.

be carefull if its a different brand tire though... i have ran into issues with swampers not being true sizes like a 33" was actually 32 1/2 and if your mixmatching tire brands you might want to measure the diameter of the tire!!! its not as big as a deal if you have open diff's but if you have any sort or locker this will chew up axle shafts, and the tire...
