I have a 1979 k5 blazer with a SM465 (saginaw-muncie 3 speed manual trans with granny low) with a NP205 transfer case, both fairly standard amongst blazers. I'm considering swapping the trans out to do some work on the current one, but wasn't sure if there were other transmissions that were compatible with the transfer case. or if i should just swap out both pieces at the same time. questions, comments, concerns, are greatly appreciated
