so I have been reading around, I have some questions in light of this new information

so there are differences in grills between the 1st gen years? and some require a different core support to line up the headlights correctly?

my girlfriend has a 89, I would like to do maybe a GMC grill with the large opening and put in some billet or such without a logo in the middle.. is this possible for her year? I like that look, i was going to do it to my 96 K1500 chevy but never got around to it before I sold it.... I've seen some blazers with that front end and it looks pretty decent

any help would be appreciated, I don't know much about blazers so I need everything I can get... I do know what I'm doing, I am a mechanic and I do a lot of work on my own car and modifiy it... But I just don't like guessing and waisting money on something I don't know about; nor do I like half assing stuff... so I figured I'd ask the experts!
