94 chevy blazer full size 5.7 is the vehicle . i go to start the truck and it wont start. I get lights air conditioning radio and power with the windows. No turn over, not even a click under the hood. I took the starter out and went to a local parts shop, they tested it and it was good to go. I installed it back in the truck and now i am back at square 1.... Please help any ideas thanks

 

you can check the power at the starter to see if its getting power at the smaller wire when you turn the key. on some of the older vehicles, not sure if yours has it my 1990 does, but the ignition switch under the dash is controlled by a rod coming from when you turn the key. sometimes they need to be adjusted or replaced as they wear out over time. i had a old k5 that was out of adjustment, you had to really turn the key as far as it would go to engage the starter but after a while it quit working, had to adjust it
