Hi guys so far everyone has been helpful thanks. What do I need to worry about when changing tire sizes and why?
I have a 93 full size with 33s on now and need new. i have been reading some of the other threads for answers but I do nt know what changes in the gearing or why that makes any difference even if it does.

Bigger tires are going to take away your effective gear ratio, meaning when your speedo says you are doing (this is just an example not real numbers) 30, your really doing 40. so your gear ratio gets lower. You lose a bit of power. You can get a plastic gear to correct your speedo, and as far as loss of power you either deal with it or change your gears in your diffs to compensate. If you're just going to put on new 33's not much is going to change if it does its only going to be a nearly unnoticable.
