wont idle!
I have a 1978 k5 that i cant get the idle.. I just put new plugs and wires in it.

Check your distributor cap, it might be turned the wrong way which would cause it to stop idling.
If you have another person you can have them start it and stay on the gas just enough to keep her running and then fiddle with the cap, turn it a little and see if she idles, if not just repeat the process.

Thank you ill go give that a try right now. Is there any way it could be the carb?

I could be a fuel problem. Was it working fine before you replaced the plugs and wires?
#5
No it would arc and run like hell
#6
okay i got it running but still runs rough.. really rough
#7
Yeah if it were me, I'd take a good look at the cap and the components under it. Something might be corroded or maybe just need cleaned.
Edit, Really? What did you do?
