Default '00 s10 doors off?

cliffs: -anyone take doors off and keep off
-come up with a way to change hinges for doors to come on and off easily like a jeeps
-wiring connected to doors affect vehicle at all or just cause a light to go on but still driveable
-many thanks all knowledgeable blazer forum. i am not worth lol
-links to sample pic and old forum i saw dealing with said problem but gave no answers
--------------
so i've been searching and searching for people that have taken their doors off and kept them off and/or replaced them with safari/tube doors. i've come across a few images of people that have them but not able to speak with them about it.
i was also thinking and wondering if anyone has somehow come up with or done some sort of replacement with the door hinges or do something like the guy did in the link to thread below did to his jeep and clip the bottom of the hinge pins to make them more like a jeep door as to where they can be taken on and off easily? also about the wiring for the door locks/windows. if those were left un-connected how would that affect the vehicle or would it just put on some warning light saying it's disconnected and can just be dealt with?
i wanna start fixing up and modding my s-10 and just trying to do all my planning before i start anything and this is one of the things i just couldn't answer or find an answer to. so i thought i should ask the all-knowledgeable blazer forum for help.

for those that need a visual, here's a pic i found on another older forum on here:

EDIT: found the link in previous thread about some quick-release pins but the question about the wiring and if someone else has done this still stands so please leave feedback.

I am pretty sure Logan runs his truck with the doors off from time to time. Go check his info out, however he has not posted since September.
