I have some dumb questions!!!!
I am trying to find what drivetrain I have. I know it has a 3.42 rearend, but what is it. 10 bolt 7.625 and what about the front axle? Ratio and brand? Transfer case, and transmission. It the front axle auto locking ??? Iknow it's an auto with overdrive, but which one?????
Also is it a common problem for the switches to go bad on the dashboard for the transfercase?

I'm here to seek the same info. Actually suprised that there isnt a spec thread on the main page. I have an 02 blazer ls & Im about to put the 2nd t-case in it in about 3 yrs. I was wondering if there were any upgrades to the internals that can be done to make it more reliable. Thanks.
