We leased 2 Envoy XL's and bought the second one off lease and have never had a problem with either. We have loved both and have never had a problem with them. I also am not just talking out of my A** I have worked for the same GM Dealer for almost 11 years in both service and sales and am not happy that they killed the line. If you have questions about how they perform just check out HARDTRAILS truck and see what you think. Good luck with the new purchase.

I was not insulting your inteligence kyle!!! I was questioning ALL STAR about the engine! If they were so awsome and were the best engine ever they would have not have killd it off as fast as they did. Now they just shove caddie engines into everything.lol

When I popped open the hood it didn't look to be all that hard to service. There seemed to be a decent amount of room in the engine bay.

I know GM produced that 250ci 6 cylinder from the 50's up into the late 80's. They are dependable and durable.

Like I said earlier with several million of these in production they can't all be bad.

I'm not trying to get anything started I just thought I'd tell the forum about my new to me vehicle.
