Default 1990 Full Size Blazer

I recently recieved a full size 1990 Blazer from a great aunt who passed away. It only has 34,000 miles on it and is garage kept, kinda excited about it but cant seem to locate a skid on the internet for the fuel tank or transur case, it lacks both.

Also anyone know the biggest tire and rim combo that will fit on it stock? Won't be wheeling it hard, mainly Outer Banks, and for fishing and hunting. It has the factory tires on the 15x7 alum wheels. I would like to widen the wheel to an 8 in width, and at least get 31-10.50 on it.

Thanks, Im new to the site as well, so if these anwsers are already here please point me in the right direction. I attached a pic, of the in need of tint and tires Blazer, any suggestions would be nice.

I have 265/75r16's on my 90 Jimmy. It looks to the same height as yours but I just got it and don't know if it's lifted. I don't think so. 265/75 16 = 31.6 x 10.4

I am considering my next set to be 285/75 16 = 32.8 x 11.2.

I think I saw the skid plates you are looking for on LMC trucks. You can download the PDF. catalog for your truck.

skid plates should be pleantiful in a junkyard, doesnt really seem like something people would really list online, try looking for different years. probably anything from 73 up to your year will work. i know alot of the 80s k5s had skid plates, most of mine did.

you CAN fit 33 12.50s under there, ive seen it done on stock trucks but they will rub when you take it offroad. usually 31s are the basic fit for a stock suspension

Yea my Great Aunt bought it new in 1990, in case it snowed. Then when it snowed she wouldnt drive in the bad weather because she said it was to dangerous. So she drove it to Church each week, and that was it.

Also thanks for all the advice, now all I need is some spare cash.
