No Lonnie those are lowering shackles for a fullsize truck. They will not work on your blazer. Thought you said you were gonna take them back and get the correct ones.

Why couldn't you nest them and get even more lift with the stock ones?

Then again the people at auto part stores aren't known to be the brightest individuals on this earth (sometimes)

Nobody pissed, just don't expect a different answer over here. Matter of fact I can give you about 6 more s10 forums to ask on if you want.

The shackles you want will look like this

http://wheelsnparts.com/images/shack.cancol04.07.jpg

They replace the shackle in the rear of the leaf spring to raise the truck up. There is no way to safely bolt those in the rear like that. Only thing I can think of you wanting to do is try to bolt the pair you have in the front spring eye and nothing good will come from it. If it doesn't pull the drive shaft out of the t-case it will slam it forward in it. Neither will be pretty and very costly to fix.

Nesting them in the rear might gain more lift until the first bump and they fold flat. They will then make the leaf eye beat and bang on the frame rail every bump. If your lucky that won't break the spring eye and only crack the frame.

Its all good, I'm on all of the s10 sites I can find. Never know where you can find good info. I'm even on the sy/ty and lowered sites. Good info is good info no matter where it comes from, keep looking and you will find all of us planet members on forums. Just cause we call it home and some of us are in admn doesn't mean we only stay there. There's been more than one thread over there about all the forums we each vist.

The other forum I help mod on is the one I'm under a different name tho.

Hey retwizted, take those things back and just buy a set of the correct ones. If you have a problem finding a pair I make them and would be glad to sell you a pair. I even have a pair already made to be sold so I could ship them quick. Pm me if interested. If you search for postings by me u can find pics of the products I make under "various parts". I need to just make a classified section for everything.
