Default 2000 Blazer issues

Ok. I have a 2000 Blazer LT 4.3L. Friday, it threw the light for multiple misfires and MAF sensor. So I changed MAF, plugs, wires, cap, and rotor. Also bottom radiator hose and heater hoses cause there were leaks. We put everything back together. Triple checked everything to make sure there were no misses. Started it and it runs like it's 180 out. Now I'm lost. I checked and rechecked everything and found no problems that would cause the timing issue. Help.

Blazers are notorious for being very finicky reading caps and rotors. The only ones that will work are AC-Delco. The other thing to check is if you got the plug wires all back correctly.

Did you leave the distributor in place or take it out. If you took it out, they can be hard to get back in keyed to the correct tooth on the gears.

Got it all figured out. The cracked plugs that I forgot to mention shorted out the distibuter. Thank goodness it was under warrenty. Replaced that. Took about an hour and a half getting it "toothed" right, but now it runs like never before. Word of advise: don't buy your "tune up" from advanced auto. Any retard can run a computer.
