2000 blazer problem
This morning and pretty much every time it’s been cold since I’ve bought it my blazer has a rough time starting, she cranks and cranks and cranks and finally turns over but then dies out and then the whole battery shuts off and I have to wait a minute for everything to kick back on to try to start again, after about 3 times of that pattern it finally roughly idles until smoothing out, anybody know what’s wrong?
How old is the battery? When they get old cold temperatures reduce the current a battery can source. This is why a simple voltage test is not sufficient in checking a battery. You should be able to have an auto parts store dona draw test on the battery.
As for the non-smooth running, I am not sure what that could be. For the times a truck starts immediately, does it also immediately run smoothly? If not, then you likely have two separate problems. If yes, then they are related. Perhaps someone else can supply some ideas.

You might have a fuel injection problem. You need to check your fuel pressure running and a leak down test. If you have not accomplished a SCFI to MFI conversion you might consider it. I had hard starting and did the conversion. See the link below.
