So it was my daily driver and I bought a 89 c1500 and drove it for a week then went back to start the blazer and it was hard to start. It only hard to start in the mornings in the afternoons it starts right up. It would spit and sputter shift in between first and second and second and third. And when I hit overdrive lock up it would spit and sputter then I would lose lock up. but it’s been gradually getting worse to the point now it only backfires even when I use ether. If it does fires off it sounds low and boggy then nothing Only code it was thrown was for the crank sensor and I changed it. I have done this to it already

crank sensor
plugs
wires
cap and rotor
good fuel pressure
good spark
good fuel
fresh oil and filter
battery
I thought maybe the timing got off but sometimes it will fire up like nothing is wrong and the next day nothing I’m not sure
Any help is greatly appreciated in advance

 

Could be a lot of things. Do you have a scanner with live data capability?

Compare fuel pressure between running good and when its running crappy. Also monitor ignition voltage when it runs crappy.

I don’t but my brother Is coming to look at it this weekend he’s bringing his scanner he’s a mechanic so I’m sure that his is capable and right now I can’t get it to run at all to test it at the moment
