Default 2002 Chevy blazer won’t start without starting fluid and cuts out in hot weather

I have a 2002 Chevy blazer 2 dr ls. It won’t start on its own I have to spray starting fluid in the TB but when it does it runs completely fan until the weather is 85 plus and it starts to cut out but I can get it started right back. I’m thinking it’s the fuel pump. But not sure because i drive it back from west Louisiana to east Alabama and it ran fine. That’s about a 7 hour drive but it was at night and a lot cooler

Sounds like a bad fuel pump to me. My 97 2-door did that while I was driving down to Southern Arizona from Idaho. I made it to a friends place and replaced the fuel pump assembly while I was there, and no issues after that.

I recommend also replacing the fuel filter.
