"Trucks" with no frames. Tragic. 557 horsepower and 648 ft lbs of torque - a 4 second Blazer. I have been transported through a worm hole into a parallel universe. Also, where do you mount the traction bars?

GM obviously thinks the new Blazer is what will sell. It is nothing like what I would need.

Perhaps these crossovers, CUVs, are a reflection of the reality of what most people want; something that looks like it could go off road but is more intended for only going to the mall in the snow.

My wife has her Subaru that works great for what it was designed for, and with gas prices what they are we take it most everywhere. My needs require something much different, and an EV doesn't fit my needs or our needs. Living in the mountains and needing something capable of going off the pavement or maintained dirt roads, let alone needing a range of more than a couple hundred miles at best, there is no EV out there that fits bill. Forget about towing, hauling and just general use as a work vehicle.
