Yep - 4x4. We need it in this neighborhood. We're about as rural as you can get in MA, and the last to get plowed. Many steep hills too.

4x4 for me as well. Finally switched from having nothing but 2x4's and dont think i will go back unless its a car

4wd for me, use it a lot on the farm! Sometimes I still get stuck though.

4x4 all day in my 97 ls 2dr and my 87 k5, as it was said earlier... if i wanted 2wd i would have gotten a car

dont see much of a point in getting a two wheel drive truck, thats what a car is for :P
