I have a 4WD because I bought this car especially for winter use. The dumb thing is that the 4WD sometimes doesn´t want to work. Maybe a wire break or loose contact. I´m going to fix this in spring, at the moment we have slight snow but -15°C in Austria.... so I´m not in the mood working on the car. And 2WD on ice an snow can be fun too ;-)

2WD all the way! Mostly because I had no choice; it's the only Jimmy anyone was selling.

That's okay; I just moved here last month but it definitely seems like there's not much snow in Louisiana.

I have two, a 4X4 Blazer and a 4X4 Jimmy. The Jimmy is SLT, heated leather seats, when my 5 ft wife pushes HER keyless entry the seat automatically moves UP for her. When I push MY keyless entry the seat moves BACK for my 6'5" butt. Sun roof, automatic Heat AC, and all that nice stuff. I want to trade my Blazer off for another luxury Jimmy!

I'd like to know how many guys have "Single Speed" 4X4? New Process made a 133 transfer case, but I've never seen one in a truck.

Don't need four doors, don't need four-wheel drive,
don't need four of anything except wheels.
