4wd grinding/rubbing feeling?
Ok so I inherited a '96 4-door Blazer from my grandfather when he passed away a bit over a year ago. It's winter time now, and we've been having a deal of snow here in Maryland. I of course turn my 4wd on when driving in snow. Everything's fine until I need to take a bit of a sharp turn somewhere. Whenever I do, I hear and feel a kind of grinding, or rubbing going on. I'm not sure what it is, but it concerns me a little. My dad has a awd Honda CRV and my mom has an awd Toyota Rav-4. They never have that problem with their cars, and have never heard of it happening. So basically I'm just wondering if you all can help me figure out what's going on, if it's a problem, and if so, how to fix it. And if it changes anything, I have the buttons to turn on 4wd, not the lever. Thanks.

sometimes if you have it in 4 wheel drive and you turn a circle on a hard surface it will hop, and sound like its rubbing a little. Check your CV shafts and see if everything looks ok with them. But if it just makes the sound in a sharp turn I wouldn't worry too much about it for now if everything else seems to be working.
