After 2 yrs and several tows I have tracked down the stalling problem with my wife 86 k5 Blazer. Her baby is a daily driver and would just die for no reason. I replaced fuel pump, carb, and distributor. Last week it did it again so in checking the system I found no gas or very little in supply line. So time to check tank. Removed the tank today and found sock on end of sending unit was crystalized. Replaced all fuel lines and sending unit and all is good.

 

yup the good fuel we can buy - and just think we get charged out the a-- for it - gotta love it
