probably a rare dealer option or something. who knows maybe your truck is worth more than you think. It does have a working digital dash. I love those things...

Thats a very nice truck. I always liked those digital dashes. I wish GM had continued them into the later Blazers.

Is there a 1990 Trailblazer edition Blazer? I found out that my truck was made in July of 89 which means that it technically should be a 90, so either it is a 90 and it was just sold and badged as an 89, or its one of the last 89 models to be produced. Could something have happened during assembly that this was supposed to be a 90 but ended up being an 89 and thats why no one has ever heard of an 89 Trailblazer?

There was a TB edition first gen. Its the tahoe package that was pretty much loaded with every option that could be had. Kinda like the gmc gypsy, that are a bit more rare but nothing really special as far as raising the price.

I haven't ever heard of a Trailblazer edition first gen. However, that is a nice truck man. Wish mine was as clean as that.

Default 89 Trailblazer edition blazer 4x4 and for sale

I've got an '89 4x4 just like yours with less than 70K. Had some initial electrical probs, but fine now. Do you have any info you've picked up to share such as value, etc. This thing is like new inside and just a tiny bit of rust. Rides and drives like a new one. Thinking about selling mine. Mine is two tone red and white. My personal e-mail address is mf845s@yahoo.com. Thanks Mike
