Default 9.5" 14bolt

can I get 5 lug axle shafts (In an S-10 Blazer pattern) for a 9.5" 14 bolt? I got a 6 lug one and I want to cut it down to fit under the Blazer. the stock 7.whatever just will not do

You should be able to get custom axles made for it. If you have narrowed it, you're going to need custom axles anyway.

A 9.5" semi-floating 14-bolt is a bit overkill for an s-series truck though. The 8.5" diff found in the ZR2 and a few choice 5-speed 2-doors should be more than sufficient if you have experienced problems with the 7.625" axle.

I know its overkill thats why I want it, its also common as dirt and from what I can find the Zr2 axle is not common as dirt.

Getting a 5 lug shaft cut to fit is alot less expensive than getting custom 5 lug shafts made.

anyways I found my answer ........... the 454 SS trucks were 5 lug and semi float 14 bolt. those shafts are not as common as dirt and there is no aftermarket replacement. I can, however ger 6 lug shafts reconfigured to 5 lug (its what the 454 SS guys do) rather in-expensively.

Also looks like a 6 lug wheel bearing hub assy from a Silverado will bolt right in place of the 5 lug S-10 assy...... this will require more research and conversion to a 33 spline front CV axle..... the good news is, once the conversion is done it only needs to be done once and then I will be sporting over kill parts that are as common as dirt

and why do I want it ............ because I break stuff. when the 4l60e dies and I am out of warranty ...... I plan on a NV4500 and LS swap.
