Default 96 and 01 compatability?

Ok, I have an 01 blazer that I'm working on making road ready. I also have a 96 Jimmy with a blown head gasket that I'm going to scrap. What parts aside from body panels/glass should I take off the 96 that will work? I know electronics and sensors tend to fail a lot on these. What would you strip off it? Both are 4dr 4.3 auto. This is a total poverty project for a friend so I'm trying to keep it as cheap as possible.

The 96 just had a new starter and radiator done on it a few weeks before the head gasket went. Surely I should grab those, are they interchangeable? I eventually have to do the heater core on the 01 so that would be a good time to do a flush and a new radiator would simplify that.
