98 Blazer crank no start
Recently picked up a 98 blazer 4 door, sat for a couple years, but ran good when parked. As of now cranks and will run by putting gas or starting fluid in intake, otherwise will not start, just spits and sputters. Just replaced fuel pump and filter. Do not have a fuel pressure gauge but manually pressed port valve down and shot gas out. Replaced Cap, rotor, wires, coil, and plugs still nothing. Has spark but almost seems an orange-ish color? have verified timing and that is good, and no codes present (cheap scanner). Anyone have any ideas or anything to check? Going to get a fuel pressure gauge soon, just looking for advice and if i’m missing something else first. Injectors? Thanks

You need to verify fuel pressure at the schrader fitting and especially leak down. Sometimes when vehicles sit the fuel changes to varnish and the fuel injectors get gummed up. Have you removed all of the old gas from the tank and refilled? I have had a couple of vehicles spit and sputter after a long storage rest. I pump out the fuel, put in new fuel, they start and run rough at first and then straighten out by the end of the new tank of gas.
