I have dragged home a 1992 4 dr. S10 Blazer. It has not been on the road for quite a few years. The owner had lost the keys but the doors were unlocked except for the rear window and tailgate exterior opener. I have an new ignition cylinder for the steering column on order. Does the rear glass only open by an electrical actuator?. I assume I must have the upper glass open before the lower tailgate will open. Will the external handle unlatch both the upper glass and the lower Tailgate? How can I access this assembly with things closed?
