haha I remember another good one, was up a logging road and I put a hole in my oil pan on my pontiac 6000... out came the bubble gum, shoved it in the hole and filled the oil back up... actually made it back to my house 45 min away!!! then I used some epoxy stuff to fix it 'properly'

 

I got sick of having to unscrew and screw in all the electrical connectors to remove and reinstall my amps and subs, (family of 5, lots of time I need that extra space), so I cut a three prong extension cord in half. One side is hot, the other ground, and the third plug provides the remote.
Between that and mounting the amp to the box rather than the truck I can now install or remove it in a matter of seconds.

 

You know,i have a bunch of those 3 prong cords...Thanks for the idea. Today i went down to a pull it yard and got a throttle body hat off a 90's caddy for $5 bucks and made me a intake kit with a k&n filter i had.

 

the front lower engine cover on the '97 had a really warped acces door for the oil filter, i used a licence plate on both sides and pop rivits to fix it, its the same size bolts to remove it as the oil pan drain plug, thats my....presidential adjustment

 

lol i'm always coming up with creative solutions. between zip ties, pop rivets, epoxy, and duct tape you can usually fix anything.

 

duct tape is whats holding on my mirror actually, gorilla glue on the other one, took em both off when i was out

 

my side quarter windows on my 2 dr are held on with duct tape(black of course)

 

noticed that my drivers side quarter window was loose at the bottom, squeezed in a little black r.t.v. silicone and called it good!

 

The handle for my hood release broke off and my blower motor didnt always wanna work. so all winter i would use a pair of vise grips to open the hood and then use them to beat on the blower till it started to work
