anyone instaled HID head lights on a blazer
Anything higher than 6k or 8k is for show, really...
4300k is the brightest, and whitest light. I'm running 6000k, because I wanted a hint of blue, but not too much that my eyes will go wonky after 4 hours of driving...
I just got some nice little projector foglights... I might stick some 3200k in there... we'll see...

I have 8000K, yes they have a blue tint but I haveany issues when driving. Actually when driving I dont notice the hint of blue unless i'm really close to someones car or when I'm outside my truck..... Other than that I love my HID's and really it's personal preference to all on which set to purchase..
i ordered them late wednesday night and they came in today. i guess thats what $55 dollars in shipping gets you. ($18 HIDs with $55 shipping)
the wires have a fuse built into them so i may not need a secondary wiring relay. ill just wait and see.im gonna wait to install them later tonight that way i can take pics comparing the two.

all i have to say is WOW. i mean, everything ive heard about HIDs is that they are bright... but... wow. they are insane. the pics dont do justice to reality.
when you first turn the lights on, they are real dim but after about 15 seconds they are plenty bright and then after about a minute, they are uber-blinding. there is a very very very slight blue to them but that may be b/c all my xmas lights are on and they are quite orange compared to these.
the last 3 pics i accidentally had the flash on
passenger side with the HID
both with HIDs
HIDs and fogs
factory high-beams... WEAK!

they are definately worth it. its unbelievable how much light they put out compared to regular halogens
there are a few different sellers on ebay selling them for ~$70-80 and if they really do last 3000+ hours like some people say, then they will definately save you money in the long run
