So, the stuff for my 4wd switch came in yesterday. Gonna turn out pretty cool, I think!

Sorry for the sideways pic.

My buddy is gonna get it fitted into the factory hole this weekend.

He also finished up my fuse/relay panel, I'll be getting that wired up this weekend, hopefully

Got my fuse/relay box done!

Since my abs module is long gone, I'm going to mount it where that used to be. It'll be as close to the firewall as possible, since eventually I plan to install a second battery where the washer reservoir and air filter is now, and I'll probably have to squeeze the new air filter between them.

Also got the new 4wd switch mounted in the dash

It fits really well, better than I thought it would.

My buddy has a 95 f250, so he decided to leave me a lil note

We both join teams to crap all over our other friends jeep, so it's all good! There's a few other things that were written on it, but since this is a family forum, I decided to not post those! Lol

I'm hoping to have everything wired up and working today, but it's kinda chilly in the garage, and I'm moving slow

Finally got the 4wd switch in. Had to put a plug on the backside, I realize if I just wired it to the factory harness, I wouldn't be able to remove the dash without cutting.

Switch works great, and the lights are bright enough to see, even in daylight!

It was more expensive than a stock switch, but the extra cool points make it worth it lol. Plus, I have the "Flux capacitor" switch as an extra. Doesn't go to anything now, once I get my oba, might wire it to an air horn

Very cool!

So are these like momentary switches that send the signal to the truck like the factory switch does? How are they wired up?

Yeah, it's really two, double throw momentary switches. This is the backside, can kinda tell how the wiring is. (the factory switch only has 7 wires, this has 8, the black is the ground for the led on the "Flux capacitor" switch)

My buddy who made it even used almost* the same color wire as the factory harness, so it was super simple to wire it up.

*almost being if it was purple/white, it was just purple on the new switch

Ah okay. I've never personally seen that type of switch as a momentary throw switch so I was a little confused lol but you confirming that they are makes a lot more since.
