We live a couple miles off pavement on some well washboarded roads. The '01 ZR2 was getting to rattle more and more - especially the doors. There's no adjustments, so it just got worse and worse. I finally ordered the door seals for the doors and tailgate. 20 minutes to change them out and BOOM - NO MORE RATTLES (from the doors). The doors shut like a Caddy - solid thunk sound. I think I'll do the door seals every 10 years - just for the silence! Happy Holidays everyone!

 

Thanks for sharing that. I've been thinking I should change mine out for similar reasons, and I'm glad to hear that you had good results from doing it.
