Wondering if the diff is the same if I would be able to run a 6lug Silverado hub if the cv axle isn’t the right spline count are the cvs interchangeable and will the Silverado hub bolt up or would I need a whole knuckle if that won’t will I need to change all the front suspension

 

The diff is not the same between the 1/2 ton trucks and the S-series. I remember reading about someone who adapted a 1/2 ton diff to an S-series truck, but it took a LOT of fabrication and modification, and I believe his final opinion was that it wasn't worth the effort. If you want something stronger you're probably better off swapping to a solid axle.
