Ok, thanks I'm looking at lowering my blazer sometime and trying to get an idea of how much to lower it.

^^^go with a 3/4 drop to lay flat, or a 3/3 to have a slight forward rake.

and buy a 3" spindle, not a coil. it may be more money than a coil, but it'llbe worth it. besides when you realize it's not enough of a drop (and you will), it's easier to just buy a 2 or 3 inch coil after.

and spend the extra $$$ to buy Belltech spindles, they're worth it. i've had some of the other brands bend over time. not on my rides personally, but on some of the other jobs i've done.

I just want to lower it to the point where there is very little gap between the tires and the top of the wheel well.

I love how this blazer sits but don't know how far it's lowered.

sooooo..............why don't you just ask him then?

it looks to be about 3..............maybe 4 inches. but you need to remember, not every vehicle sits the same.

i once did a friends '85 2WD Blazer (a total of 5 inches, F & B) and it only sat about 1 1/2" lower than what your truck sits now.

I notice after further research that he claims it's lowered 5/5 but doesn't the 4wd sit a bit higher than the 2wd?

Yeah, it was a 4x4 but he put in a 2wd version of the 700R4. But I'm not sure if 2/2 or 3/3 would be closer but in clcolvin's picture the 2/2 looks kinda close. But, It's kinda hard to tell.
